A variety of animals live in this wild territory : in the isolated and sandy coves the sea turtle "caretta caretta" lays its eggs and in the mountains live the Sardinian deer, wild pigs, hares, falcons,  eagles, crows and foxes.

The Campidano plane overlooks the northern part where most of our agricultural products come from such as olive oil, cannonau wine, saffron, tomatoes and other vegetables, peaches and oranges. Little villages can be visited as to discover all smells and tastes of Sardinia.
Further north, in Sardara two important thermal baths are the ideal place for  lovers of health and relax.

Many archaeological sites are all over the territory. In Sanluri a beautiful medieval castle and in Barumini the nuragic complex property of Unesco.

Climate

Sardinian climate is various: mild on the coast and colder in the centre. The summer is long and it starts from the end of April until the beginning of october so that it is still possible to swim in the blue sea while in the rest of Italy people wear jackets! Winter is mild, except of the days when the west wind blows. In general, from June to September people wear summer clothes, but in the evening a jacket is necessary above all near the sea or in the mountain areas. But in winter there should be surprises: a sunny day and the top of the mountains covered with snow.
